Malibu Creek

For our final in digital landscape painting class, we went out to Malibu Creek to walk, talk, and most importantly, paint. It was a relaxing albeit chilly day. It started to rain a little, so I had to throw on a trash bag over my laptop to protect it. The trees reminded me of Miyazaki's extra floofy forests. 

This is what I was able to capture plein air, but maybe I'll fix this up later. (ha) But for now, enjoy!

We each chose a game that we wanted to create a cinematic for and painted six pieces depicting the style, color, and mood we wanted for the "next-gen" version of the game. I chose Shadow of the Colossus.
